Help! lcd compact ex cc-02 update error

i was updating my bike on the hyena rider assist app via bluetooth and i disconnected it while updating accidentally. now the screen is stuck on "uu" whenever i put the battery in ( i tryed taking the battery out for a few mins but the screen automatically turned of when the battery was put back in). i cant turn the screen off, turn the lights on or turn on ride assist ive tried reconnecting to the bike through bluetooth and it wont connect. ive looked online and on the manual and i cant find anything.

Oops. Sounds like you've bricked it.

Hyena's own advice is to take the bike back to an authorised dealer (Halfords?). They have the Dealer Service Tool software which, if you're lucky, may recover it.

Interestingly, you can download the Dealer software from Hyena's own site, but whether you can actually use it without permissions I don't know/not tried (some others you can). But there's always risk you could brick it permanently... always a risk with CANbus driven systems.
