Maybe we could ask Putin if he could lend us any spare vacationing military personnel that aren't tied up in Ukraine, Syria or gazing up at the 123-metre spire of Salisbury Cathederal...

Armed Forces: Recruits don't need to have lived in Britain

More foreign nationals living abroad will be able to join the Armed Forces, the government is to announce.

Currently, only 200 Commonwealth citizens per year can apply without having lived in the UK for five years.

But in a bid to recruit more servicemen and women to the Army, Navy and Air Force, the Ministry of Defence is lifting this cap.

The Armed Forces is short of 8,200 soldiers, sailors and air personnel, a report found earlier this year.

It is the worst shortage since 2010, said the independent government watchdog, the National Audit Office.

Ministers are expected to announce the change to recruitment rules on Monday.

It means people from Commonwealth countries - including India, Australia, Kenya, Fiji and Sri Lanka - will be considered for roles, even if they have never lived in Britain....

...Mark Francois, who spent a year meeting with MoD officials as well as military personnel, said there was a "perfect storm" of high employment rates and an ageing population with fewer people of military age.
Ayup there flecc we'll be getting papers through the door again! (better get me 'air cut!)

A clear sign of losing an argument is when as zlatan has pointed out you resort to childish immature personal insults.......... however as this is the Losers thread i understand your confusion and frustration.

In future i`ll take the advice of the inimitable George Carlin,

“Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

:D
You'll be leaving us to argue with yourself? do let us know how you get on ;)

The problem you have is that your instinctive reaction to any fact you don't find fits with your conditioning you simply reject it
I pointed out in jest a possible reason for the expression on Arron Banks face, and you leapt to the defence of this so obvious charlatan simply because he's "onside" with Brexit
For example after you used the "offensive language button I offered this explanation
"

It is not offfensive language even in the land of the DUP
Once again you hit the "offensive language " button , can you tell me why?
So I responded
And still tommie doesn't understand, even when an explanation a five year old could grasp has been given.

Which simply pointed out the fact that you clearly didn't know that this is not an offensive term. The truth is you just wanted to be a nuisance with that use of the "offfensive language" button, and it sn't the first time.
You are not interested in debate are you? just here to be a nuisance.
Since you came on here you have made nothing in the nature of a single post that supported the idea that Brexit is a good idea, have you?
Because there isn't one, is there?
Why don't you come up with something positive that puts and encouraging light on the prospects we face after Brexit?

Just try to imagine the civil unrest that could occur if the worst consequences of brexit occurred:
Food shortages
Medicines shortages
Large numbers of job losses
Serious reduction in value of sterling
Untold holidays in Europe cancelled
UK MEPs out of work
Heineken in Wetherspoons up 50p per pint, hehe !!!!

LOL.... you`re an `interesting` character OG,

who else could be bothered to type out that nonsensical diatribe, what for? who else spends his whole day from 5-30am posting the most pathetic cut-n-pastes that nobody takes a blind bit of notice of..

people like that in these parts would be referred to as .. " Aye, ya know that fella has a wee bit of a `want`"

How about a little hobby maybe, something that takes you outdoors? Ever thought of e-biking?

I strongly recommend it.

Just a suggestion...

I've just come back from an E bike ride as it happens, and you do realise that all you do is come on here with nothing more than the intention of making a nuisance of yourself don't you?

And your ignorance is outstanding, do you know how many "hits" this topic has had?
958,698, and so far we have not had very many intent only on making a nuisance of themselves as you do , most have come on to either partake of the debate or out of interest, to see what is happening, neither of which are your reason for being here, are they?

This thread has clearly been of interest to a great number of people, and quite possibly clarified the facts in the minds of quite a few for after all there aren't that many people dumb enough to resist exposure to the truth when it is presented to them, minus the spin and propaganda that the far right provide..

But do keep coming, you will find plenty on here quite happy that you provide comedy relief, even though as a champion of the Leave cause, you are as disastrous as the rest of that sorry bunch.
If you insist on continuing damaging the credibility of the Brexit cause I for one will be delighted to help.
Your efforts to that worthy goal are much appreciated.

Is anyone sure that he put the £8million in ?
does it matter if the money comes from his pockets or donations??
next time, the law will be tightened.

Here is an item of future interest that may even have an impact as early as the American Mid terms
Deep Fakes

As if there aren't enough techniques of deception available already!

Just watching the news regarding London’s terrifying murder crisis. There seems to be a common denominator.

Only one?
If only life was so simple. finding details of the groups that are most likely to offend is simple

https://www.ethnicity-facts-figures.service.gov.uk/crime-justice-and-the-law/policing/number-of-arrests/latest

But that does not give the common denominator of motivation does it? unless you subscribe to some racial trait being the cause of this penchant for murder.

Very convenient modus operandi of course, and the old adage explains the logic succinctly
"Bigotry is a great time saver,
it allows you to make your mind up without bothering with the facts."

The problem is no solution is possible to this as any other problem without understanding and dealing with the causes, and that requires research to determine the facts that cause the effects.

I don't see this as terrifying, so far there have been 118 murders and we are near to the end of the year.

Have a look below and you'll see that isn't in any way unusual and is well below average. The only difference now is media hysteria:

Murder. Between 1990 and 2003 the number of homicides in London averaged 173 per year, with a low of 139 in 1996, and a high of 204 in 2003. The number then fell in each and every year between 2004 and 2014 to a new low of 83. They then rose sharply to 118 in 2015, followed by a fall to 110 in 2016.

Not hard to see if your`re brave enough to walk Londons street nowadays,

Hardly surprising when you let in the dregs of europe, a shower of useless good for nuthin malingerers, gainful employment is foreign to them, they breed like rabbits and scrounge for a living, scamming the honest tax payer for every benefit possible.

If the country is to survive this Brexit must put an end to this nonsense

Have a well deserved "Offensive lnguage" response, you've earned it.
And how is your Brexit going to do this?

Just to demonstrate how well informed you are, how many of those arrested were "the dregs of Europe"?
The answer is of course a small minority, not even separated out from the "White arrests" in the figures
As usual you opened your mouth and right wing propaganda came out.

Kindly tell us the brilliant plan that will solve the issue.

If this country is to survive people like you have a lot of growing up to do.

No courage necessary, I do it all the time and have done for most of my many years. I was probably in far more danger during my stays in Northern Ireland during the 1970s troubles.

There is no particular problem, London is far safer than most large world cities, see this post
.

No, didnt think so, a cess pit of drugs, knives, guns and murder - and thats just the des-res part !!

I'll ask the question; what do you mean by a "Good clean out?"
