Thieves made off with three electric bikes worth £9,000 from the Bristol e-bike specialist on 28th January.
The shop front was forced by a van reversing into a pallet, which the thieves had placed against the door to gain entry.
A spokesperson for The Electric Transport Shop said security camera footage had captured clear images of the burglars, which are now being investigated by the police.
Unfortunately, being home to the desirable items that e-bikes are, this is not the first time the TETs shop has been targeted. Previously thieves demonstrated far less forward planning by using a Fiat 500 as the get-away vehicle. TETs said the previous thieves: “grabbed 2 bikes, but then made their escape in a fiat 500 with the windows wound down – holding a bike against each side of the car – and while being chased by the police, which must have looked ridiculous.”
