Captus
Available from stockists in January will be Raleigh’s latest two models.
Retailing at £1750, the metallic grey Captus features Shimano Altus 9-speed gearing, Raleigh V-brakes, Suntour suspension forks and Schwalbe Energizer tyres.
A Bosch Active Line middle motor provides the power with a Bosch 300wh battery providing a maximum range of 92 miles.
The Captus has four assistance options: Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo. The interactive speed, time and distance display also provides a ‘Walk’ function allowing a 6km/h assist to ease pushing over obstacles.
The Captus is available as a 48cm crossbar model and a 46cm lowstep model.
Forge
Also sporting a lightweight aluminium frame is the Raleigh Forge, using a Shimano Altus 8-speed system controlled by Shimano Revoshift shifter. The Kenda tyres have a reflective stripe. And the bike comes with mudguards, pannier rack, chainguard, kickstand and comfort saddle.
The TransX 36v 250w Brushless Quickstop Motor comes with a large volume TransX 11Ah battery and a TransX handlebar mounted display with 3 assistance levels and an assisted Walk function. The maximum range provided by the Forge is 53 miles.
This chrome and blue Forge is offered with a 48cm cross bar frame and a 46cm lowstep frame and is priced at £1250.
