Karbon Kinetics Ltd, manufacturer of the Gocycle, have just released GocycleConnect, a free app that allows you to customise the output of the Gocycle G2’s motor to suit your own needs.
GocycleConnect works wirelessly, using a bluetooth chip which is embedded in the Gocycle frame, connecting an Apple or Android smart device to the Gocycle G2. Using the app, the rider can program the Gocycle by selecting one of three pre-set driving modes (City, Eco or On Demand) or edit the Custom mode to fine-tune the motor assistance for a workout or a no-sweat commute.
Additional features of the app include the ability to set the legal speed for the rider’s local region, remotely view the charge status and health of the Gocycle battery, download the latest software to the Gocycle’s controller, and upload the Gocycle’s “maintenance log” to KKL’s tech support team for remote diagnostics.
