Zero assist option

Featured Replies

Have a King Meter KM529 display which works fine but doesn't allow the bike to have the display to remain on with no power to the motor. Is there a replacement controller that would do this. Currently has 5 power options from 1 to 5 but no 0. Any ideas on this would be appreciated.
Put a switch on the pedal sensor 5v red wire to enable/disable it. That way you can go from whatever level you want to zero assist and back again with a single press.
similar idea but a little easier, put an extra switch on the brake sensor line to simulate squeezing the brakes when you want zero assist.

Don't have the plugins for the brake sensors which is the way I did it on the last bike. Hadn't thought about the pedal sensor so the pedal sensor is the way to go. It'll be a lot cheaper than a new display as well!

Thanks for the replies.

Actually it's possible to update the display with a new firmware to add PAS 0 level.
