Yamaha Haibike power seems to be surging

Hi


I have a 3 year old Haibike Sduro Hardseven


Working normally until today when cycling to work. The power seemed to be surging and while looking at the console the speed would be 25kmp then 10 or 15 and back to 25

I was thinking it was the speed sensor so stopped and gave it a clean but still doing the same thing

When I get home tonight will give it a proper clean but wondering if anyone has had this issue before and do you think I am looking at the right thing

Check your wheel magnet is correctly aligned

I think your right, checked it just now but will give it a proper once over when I am home
