Yamaha Easy re-cell ?

I bought a new Easy ( used by mangers wife for assessment it seemed ) from Evans Cycles near Waterloo Station. Used it for a few years but not in recent years. I pedalled out at 15mph in fourth ( hub ) gear and was used to going faster on the level in those days, and certainly down hill. Now about 20 years later I may benefit from assistance when pedalling more sedately. The original Nimh 24 volt battery only lights up the handlebar control for a mile or two. Help please from any one who can direct me to someone who can direct me to a concern who undertakes supplying and installing Lithium cells. North London appears the nearest to Southampton so far. There is a thread from Beach Thorcombe in about 2016 which suggests he undertook this ; any news of his progress welcome. Tom Moore Bassett, Southampton.
