Just a quick question. Is it possible to fit a more powerful bottle battery to this bike, just to improve the range.

yes. The battery is standard 40 cell bottle.
It's easy to change for 11.6AH 40 cell bottle, you can also fit 50 cell bottle (15AH) with the right mounting kit.

Yes, but it'll cost you £250 to £300. The controller is in the base of the battery, so you have to get either another type with the controller in the battery or buy a controller as well, and put it in a box, like the Kudos bikes. Uou can get a 11'6ah bottle battery with controller exactly the same, so you have:

or you can get this type from a number of suppliers. You need one with a 15 amp controller or put the controller in a box:

http://www.bmsbattery.com/36v/682-bottle-ebike-battery.html

It'll be a lot easier and cheaper to get a bike with the right battery in the first place.

The controller is in the base, easy to detach but you would not have to.
To fit a long bottle, unscrew the base, screw in the new longer alloy mounting rail, no need to buy a new controller.
or buy a spare battery from Woosh for £200 if you need to double the range.

Thanks, it was just an idea, it could be I will be ok with the range, I hope though as my fitness improves to be a bit more adventurous with slightly longer rides. Second battery from Woosh is a good option, especcially as I intend to fit a rear carrier to the bike, plus it probably safer as i wouldn't be messing with the electrics.I dont mind spending a bit on it as I got it a a good price. So looking forward to it arriving next Tuesday :)
