Well, after months of deliberation and research I ordered a Woosh Santana CD on Wednesday and it arrived safely today, a little under 24 hours from my telephoned order. Impressed by the speed of delivery.
It came in a big box, well packed and all I needed to do was unpack it, screw on the pedals, attach the handle bars and seat. Oh, and fully charge the battery.
My first trip was just 2 miles into Stroud and back. The crank drive came into it's own on the way home. I have a half mile 1:8 incline and having selected 1st gear and maximum assistance, I pedalled and got up at about 7-8 mph. Bearing in mind appalling fitness and 17.5 stone to haul up the hill, I was pleased. I did pedal fairly hard but remained in the saddle and I am sure it will get easier as my fitness improved. There were no gear change issues, but I did follow the advice for crank drives.
I'll update this thread in due course.

The Woosh Santana is going well. The area I live has lots of steep hills and all have been climbed to date. The best procedure is to get into the gear you think you'll need slightly in advance and select the power level you think you need and pedal steadily and hopefully you'll make it up the hill without the need to change gear.
Our hills are steep and I normally take 1st or 2nd gear and select maximum assistance but I am heavy. I usually cycle between 7-10 mph up the hills so I think that's ok.
Top speed limited adjusted from 15mph to 19mph which makes cycling around 15mph more pleasant as it avoids the cut out/cut in power experience.
No regrets on purchasing this bike.

King-Meters factory setup mode is activated by pressing up & down at the same time, there you can set the limit to whatever the legal speed is in your current location.
