Woosh Big Bear ... Throttle ??

Has the woosh big bear a motorcycle type throttle? I thought this was illegal in the UK. Can it be ridden just on electric with no pedaling at 15mph?

Twist and go throttle is what you referred to.
the new law bans manufacturers and importers to fit twist and go throttles.
It does not apply to users, kits and retrofit add-on throttles.
To get round the restriction, full throttles are either no longer twist and go, requiring pedalling before you can use it or left to the customers to install/connect/switch on.
The Big Bear Plus has non twist and go, you have to pedal first a few seconds before it is activated.
It can be reprogrammed to twist and go but then you will have to connect it yourself after reading the notice.
