We are having to give up our electric bikes, they are both Wisper 705t models, in mint condition, no marks, no corrosion. One has a new battery which is approx 7 weeks old, the other is on the original battery, which is fine, holds its charge well. Both bikes are about three and a half years old, mileage on one is approx 550 miles, and the other about 450 miles. What could we ask for these bikes, reason for sale is genuine, we would like to take them in the car but they just wont fit in easily changing the car is to expensive and I Don't Want or Like bike racks at all.

Bike value at 4 years old is 55% of the then new cost minus the battery.
For the the new battery you could likely add 80/90% of the battery value to one bike. The other battery at going on for 4 years nil tbh.

Thanks for that, it’s more than I thought, we have someone interested in possibly buying both, he has offered very near this.

For valuation I have used a pro rata formulation that the venerable flecc posted many years ago, it is a good formulation that takes account of battery age which is be the expensive part to replace should it suddenly expire or loose it capacity.

Both bikes provisionally sold for £750 for mine with new battery and £ 625 for the older battery. Thanks for the advice.
