I always try and switch off the charger as soon as the light is green. Now and again it would suit me to charge the bike over night. Is it ok to leave it plugged into the charger after the lights gone green

I seem to remeber being told not to do this but I can't quite remember

It's a good general rule not to leave a battery on charge 'unsupervised' though the risk is generally minimal.

There's one other minor issue with the Wisper - after the light turns green the battery continues to charge at a much reduced rate for another hour or two. It's generally not considered desirable to allow this to happen as stopping just short of maximum charge is less stressful to your battery, and you won't even notice any benefit gained. It's not a serious business though and allowing it to run on occasionally may help in balancing the cells.
