Yes a big jump money wise from a Rush Trek to a 906xc. Are you happy with the Rush (excluding tech problem) I have always liked them and considered one myself but went for a 905SE. Have sold mine and presently using wife's 705SE, but want a new bike in new year. I think I will get a 905 City S as don't feel that comfortable spending that sort of money on a bike.......... but will def try one first!Looks a nice bike but at that price.... a bit to expensive for me. I' ve got a Rush Trek, it's just having a new motor controller fitted, should have it back soon.

I loved the 905SE, it was a used one and I want latest model with full warranty and interchangeable battery with my wife's new style 705 SE. It always brought a smile to my face and range and performance were very good. I am 17 stone and easy got 40 miles I guess. I look around and cant see another bike that touches the Wisper's, particularly in the area of support which is outstanding.and they constantly seem to be improving them. my wife's 705 is light year ahead of the earlier 705.eddieo,
did you not like the 905se, how do you rate speed, miles you got from it.i am looking at a 905se or the new wisper kit, but i do like the 906xc
looks a good bike so a lot of should i buy this or that at the moment.
mapman.
I only had the Trek a few days before the motor controller gave up, but I like the Treks a lot. The colours black and silver, seem to look cool to me and the overall package seems good for the money you pay. Everything else on the bike seemed fine and it rode well for the short time I used it. Hopefully I'll have it back soon and be able to give more info. Simon at 720cycles has been good and he lent me a step threw version to be going on with.Yes a big jump money wise from a Rush Trek to a 906xc. Not technically minded so prefer a ready built bike, but the Wisper kit will probably be well thought through...What donor bike are you considering? I did think of getting an alpino hub geared bike, and going for the kit as well...that way I get the dapush controls which I like the look of as my eyesight is poor.
now I know they have a 500 watt motor available and a few have made there way here, but no feed back on here. intriguingly on website they say 250,350 and 500 watt motors available *last two for off road/export only*
Happy enough with the 250 but struggle on some hills at times (Switzerland/Italy) but I need the exercise so probably stay with a fullly street legal bike......But a 350 watt is tempting as with better power management I would hope it would be a better hill climber and battery life should still be good. I just wished our reg's were the same as the USA's
