wisper 905 mph.

I would like the true speed of a wisper 905.some shops quote with optional de restrict switch fitted. speeds of 17mph from one shop and 19.5 mph from another shop.so what do you get from your bikes if you have the switch in or out.

mine does around 17 - 19 mph I guess.

it really depends on headwinds, terrain, your weight etc....The derestrict makes a differnce as you get a very nice little surge lol

It also depends on tyres fitted and how accurate your speedo is, 18 mph was probably the more honest shopkeeper.

I agree with Mussells 18mph is about correct although 17mph is th legal limit.

Of course you can get the bike moving along more quickly in perfect conditions.

I would say about 18-18.5 mph but I am fairly light although I do also carry two full panniers of stuff at most times.

Of course I do not go too fast in inappropriate places, because of the badgers. (I am not kidding here, one ran out straight in front of me a few months ago and I had to make an emergency stop!)

David - will the 906 alpino do the same speed or will it be a strict 25kph limit?
