Hello All

I have put a front disk brake on my b3 and charged the 2 brake handles as a pair. I have re-connected them to the bike control but now I can't get the wheel to start with the brake connected or disconnected. The switches a both functioning and there is continuation in the wires.

Anyone have a suggestion? it was working fine before i disconnected it

The switches may be normally open so when you apply the brake the switch closes to make the circuit, or normally closed that open when you apply the brake.

If I'm thinking this right, when the brake switches are disconnected the circuit is open, and when you connect the brake switches, they're still open... but need to be closed to complete the circuit?

As a test, not whilst riding obviously, disconnect the new brake levers, reconnect the old ones and confirm that the system works as it used to.

If it does, then there is probably a difference in the wiring between brake lever sensor and connector, or a difference in the type of sensor.

Are they just switches? Or are they hall sensors? I don't have direct experience...someone will.

And remember, pictures always help!
