I have a Windgoo B20, I am going to hang it from the ceiling out of the way, the best way to do this would be upside down will the battery be safe in this position?

Windgoo JPG.jpgThis is the beast, and if I drop the bars and remove the seat stem, hanging upside down from the wheels seems the best plan, but with the question about the battery still unanswered. Regards, texteditor.

Christ, I didn't know I had to add aquatic creatures to my battery when I built it.:)
He means Microtus arvalis, not Arvicola amphibius. They can be a right pain when they infest your battery compartment, especially if they mistake the wires for worms, but as he said, it's pretty bad when you turn the bike upside down and they all fall out, as, when they drop inside your collar, they have a nasty habit of ending up in your underpants.

There's nothing in a lithium battery that can be harmed by turning upside down, and nothing in SLA batteries. Only wet lead ones can't be inverted. Which type of battery does it have?

Have you seen these:
Thanks vfr 400, I thought I was alright hanging it upside down but just wanted to check . It has a Lithium battery. I know not to invert a lead acid battery having used them for many years.
The hanging gear you put the link to is exactly what I am going to use and the bike falls within the safe load, I have 2 ordinary bikes suspended from these and the shape of the hooks lend them to hooking through the wheels but only if the bike is upside down, if the bike is right way up there would be problems keeping it from falling over.
