How many street parties are there going to be anyway, and will they slow me down? The one at my local library which lasts an hour is indoors, other parties locally have free fairground rides, live music all day and evening, hot dog stands etc. It could all get in the way!

To avoid arrest by Royalist Cops, you need to put Not Mike King on your sign, that is also what to shout. Anything else will get you arrested. A van load of Not My King placards was mysteriously stopped at random on its way to Londonland, all confiscated! There shall be no dissent!

Did anybody see anybody having a street party? I rode my bike around today hoping I could get a free cake or two by singing the national anthem, but I didn't see anybody at all celebrating, not even a flag. In Rippon, they prepared a place in the town centre with funfair and flags. Nobody turned up. It was completely empty.

Free cake? I thought it was going to be that horrible quiche! Fear of slipping on salmonella loaded quiche, and stray bunting running rampant all over the place kept me indoors. Of course with road closures for street parties listed up until Tuesday, free cake (or biscuits) could yet be offerred for conditioning/brainwashing purposes.

Not the slightest sign in my very large London Borough of Croydon or in the adjacent North Surrey Borough of Tandridge that I've travelled through.

Although nearly half the public when polled say they support our royalty, I think that is similar to the way they claim to be christian though they never attend church.

Notional conformity, expedient like our 250 watts.

I doubt many would want to sit out eating soggy cucumber sandwiches.
Most of the nation must have stayed at home as the roads were very quite when I was at work in the afternoon in to evening.

Not interested in the coronation, but we had a very enjoyable smallish street party yesterday (around 4:00 to 7:00). Lots of cakes left over, I'm sure you could have had some (as long as you promised not to sing the national anthem). Slightly stale cake for our guests tonight as desert.
