Why am I getting dating adds ?

I understand that someone needs to pay for things that are sort of free and can put up with the odd add here and there.. but why dating adds?
It's a subject I never browse because I have no interest whatsoever in dating or any other extra marital pursuits so are these adds general or targeted?

These ads are very clever. They know what you (or whoverer uses your pc) have been looking at, so they bring relevant ads. The most likely reason for getting dating ads is that someone has been looking at porn or something similar, or another user has been looking at dating sites. I hope it's not your wife/girlfriend!

Must have scared them off.. now it's natwest banking and capitol one credit cards.. another area I have no interest in, viewed on line nor done searches for..
Is this a new thing? Not noticed adds before..

This isn't anything to do with the pedelecs forum, like most members I get none of these, only seeing e-bike ads above and at the right.

Something must have entered your system which is prompting these alien ads to enter your viewing. It may help if you check the history in your browser and delete all the cookies you feel are unnecessary or which you don't recognise.

Most of my Internet activities revolve around ebikes, Strava, electronic gagitry and my eBay shop. Right now each post I view contains a finance related add.
Not sure how to clean my phone but will have a try..

Tapatalk is probably selling advertising that appear wheny you're bowsing forums using their app on a mobile device - search internet for tapatalk ads

Might be better to view forums on a desktop puter (with an adblock plugin)

I am begining to sense a pattern as now it's orthopedic beds.. it seems the only way to stop this is to pay...
It's in other areas as well.. dare I admit to reading the daily mail on line? Lately I am getting pop up adds when looking at their photos.. usually for uber but sometimes for nappies .
So I can get a date with my new credit card, bring her home by taxi, use my new bed then buy some nappies..
