hello all my home insurance /contents will be due for renewal soon.
my present insurer swintons does not do ebike cover, nor does Aviva who I was with before.
I would like some kind of cover as regards theft from home ,or away from home.
advice on which companies do home and ebike combined.

ebike cost 1k exdemo do I insure for 1k or the £1700 new price

tank you

I'm with Admiral. My ebike is a similar value to yours and they were OK with it. Only caveat is that away from home it has to locked to an immovable object with Sold Secure gold lock which should probably be what you aim for with a bike like that anyway.

Sainsburys specifically state they cover e-bikes so our cover is with them.

I'm with e-sure, no problem to add the £2k e-bike. I would insure for the £1,700 as that is what it will cost to replace if it gets nicked.
