Hello
My e-bike setup:
1000W 48v brushless motor
1000W 48v brushless motor controller
48v 10Ah (Headway 38120L 10Ah LiFePO4) battery pack

I am going to swap my original balancer with another one from China. The one on the right (attached photo) is original and come with 48v 20Ah (Headway 38120L 10Ah LiFePO4) battery pack which I had to cut in a half and turn it into 10 Ah battery to decrease weight. The new balancer is dedicated for the 16x38120L battery pack. But the voltage on both balancers is different. Also, I have concern if new balancer will work with original charger (photo attached). I will really appreciate any help.

Headway cells are 3.2 v, so the one on the left is correct. The maximum charge voltage is 3.65v. I can't read Chinese, but maybe the one on the right shows maximum charge voltage and the one on the left shows nominal.

Be aware that they might have different pin arrangements on the multi-pin connector. The one on the right has 15 pins for 13 cells, which means that it has ground, cell 13 and an extra one, so probably b13 is doubled up. You'd have to measure with a meter to confirm that. Some BMSs take ground from B- and some take B13 from B+, so you could have 12, 13, 14 or 15 pins. 15 is unusual. They can all be adapted with some simple wiring.

If you lack wiring knowledge but have extra money to spend why not just change the charger?
