NW London Cricklewood used to be nicknamed County Cricklewood because of the large Irish Community, I think Little. Baghdad might be more appropriate theses days LOL

A5 is just at the end of my road , turn right for tea with the King at Buckingham Palace or right towards the Watford Gap where I blew the head gasket on my Ford Capri when I was 17 and did not know what a temperature gauge was on the M1

I do not remember if I had passed my test or had any insurance.

back in the day we used to print our own cover notes and present to the police after hours if we got a Producer no computers .

The Good Old Days !!!!

I disagree, the good ol days were when i was 'the insurance man' and had a pad of cover notes in my case propped up against my barstool, during an extended liquid lunch.. While legitimately at work.

Reminds me of the clubs we used to go to after work when the pubs had to close ar 3.00 pm.
Before the crack down on drink driving .

one in particular was called the Stage and Radio in London Street Paddington .

The next street was a club called Corkies they used to film Only Fools and Horses there.

Is it an offence to be over the DD limi on a Pedelech ? not falling over drunk but more than Two glasses of Champagne

I could not afford insurance when I was 17 , .
At 18 I had a Iveco 7.5 Ton truck with a glass frail in the side because of my age I used to get stopped all the time .
And have to wait for traffic cops to come out and check the truck.

I had a wad of producers , when I apparently saved the live of an off duty police officer when he was knocked of his motor bike in front of me .

I learned quite a bit of first aid in the Army Cadets and from Saint Johns.

Wembley police sent a senior officer round to my mums and he tore them all up as a thank you !

But on a forum issue .

Just got these reports attached from the battery company in Camberwell by What’s app .

For the Bird bike .

So they have rebalanced the battery and say it’s ready to be picked up .

I am a bit concerned about the reason it went out of balance or failed in the first place .

As they have not replaced any of the cell groups LG cells or reported any fault on the BMS.
I suppose Halfords could have just put the bike into storage and the battery just went to sleep.

I am going to bring the bike over there and do a road test on Monday.

Probably just long term storage, and whatever processes cause gradual discharge in that state.

I'm interpreting your middle picture as being the situation AFTER you charged it, but BEFORE the battery people did anything? And last picture is rebalanced battery.

Main load would have been BMS, and the cell voltages in your middle picture suggest a 'kind' BMS that takes its power from the whole cell pack, not just from one cell group. Otherwise you would have seen one cell group much LOWER than the rest, either the first or the last group. Instead all groups have good voltage, and one is right at maximum 4.2V near enough, which is what stopped the charge.

Probably just tiny tolerance issues over a long time.

Ths missing info is the cell group voltages before you charged it: they would distinguish between it sitting part charged, and so likely to be OK now, and sitting totally flat, and potentially now of reduced capacity.

Let us know!

Hi Mathew

Are you repairing or servicing batteries commercially ?

If so where are you based ?

I may be picking up this week one of Williams racing team bikes 700c , only 10 miles on it but the battery is playing up similar to the Birad by the sounds of it.

If I wanted to buy a balancing machine do have any recommendations ?

Cheers
