New Forest. Hants.
I was hoping to do this as a POLL--but I can't see how.

So--as in the title really.

I never go very far. (And I don't cycle in the rain.)

I go to the stables where I keep my horses. (about a mile each way)

I go shopping. (Well it IS a Shopper :) ). (Theres a shopping type place about three miles in either direction)

I go to visit friends and family. (Within a ten mile radius.)

I probably average about 6 miles a day.

I go to work on mine, any day I'm not too lazy (14 miles) or its not icy! Also to the shops, about 8 miles and sometimes just out round the - lanes for fun.

Supermarkets at 4 miles and 8 miles round trips, town at 9 mile round trip, specialist shops at 8 and 12 mile round trips, trips into the Surrey countryside for exercise, to enjoy the country and for photography.

Longest runs on multi batteries at 60 miles to date.

I can't use my e bike for business as I've always got goods to carry both as samples to show customers and (if they buy anything), their deliveries of goods the next week.
I know Bournemouth so well having lived here for the past 50 years both as boy and mouse, sorry, man, and usually having driving jobs associated with the area that, as I said in a a recent post, I now like to put the bike in the back of the estate car and motor out of the area, somewhere I don't know, usually a little seaside resort say in Devon, park up, take the bike out of the car, and cycle round and explore, stopping at one or two places for refreshments and to do perhaps some photography which I have always liked. Put the bike back in the car and motor back. Trouble is I'm now finding I have to now motor further and further from home to find somewhere different, still, a very pleasurable experience to explore new places, and, with a e bike so much easier to go further. Can't wait for the spring and summer, though the boat must come first, as to use it - all conditions have to be right and that doesn't always happen, so I take advantage when I can.

Strictly boring to tell, but enjoyable to do, commute to work machine (about 12 miles round trip), although on a nice evening i will make plenty of deviations on the way back. (Nothing to do with alcohol or random walks:) )

No commuting for me... Mostly exploring the countryside around here, and trips to the shops, bank, accountant's and the park. I average about 5-6 miles a day.

Commuting only for me but I hope to change that when I work out a good way to include the kids. I ride a fairly long way in all weathers and I find riding in the snow fun. :)

Frequent circuits and criss-crosses of Richmond Park, sometimes out to Bushey Park, Richmond or along the Thames to Walton. I like cycling into and around central London for meetings and social get togethers - I recently managed to cover the 9.5 miles from the Serpentine in Hyde Park to my front door in 35 minutes flat when I had to rush home a few weeks ago - arrived in good time though, thanks to my Pro Connect.

I miss cycling around Cambridge and along the Cam very much.

Forgot to mention above my area recycling activities, mainly 6 mile round trips to the local recycling depot but sometimes an 8 mile round trip to another one for certain materials:

I ride to work every day (7 miles each way, so 14 miles total) and also to friends living at the county border around Diss - was doing this on my normal bike (albeit slightly slower)

I was impressed that the Powacycle Salisbury handled 26 miles into headwinds and two large hills and still had two bars left on the battery charge when I got to my destination...

My goodness. That's quite an impressive load. Do you fancy having a go at towing my horse-box?

I have a little 3'x4' box trailer. Will the PB take some sort of 'tow-bar'?

I've never managed a horse, but I've carried settees, fridges, cookers, ladders and even a double bed cut in half once.

The Powabykes will tow, you'd need a cycle type tow attachment, mine is a special that I made to permit car towball type attachment.

Many have towed even garden trailers behind bikes, though thinner wheeled ones are more suitable.

I use my bike for shopping in nearby Newmarket, about six miles round trip, and for exploring the countryside round here.

My average countryside run is around 17 miles and at the right time of the year I make my way from one blackberry bush to another. I find I can also buy odd things I want from various village stores where the atmosphere is rather more pleasant than Tesco's and the trip is more enjoyable.

When I sold my Powabyke Commuter I kept the panniers which dropped onto the carrier of the Synergie Mistral as if they had been made for it. Apart from the odd bit of light shopping, they carry my tyre repair kit, bike lock, bottle of water and a few other lightweight odds and ends.

The weather around here has been atrocious and I just cannot wait to get out on the bike again. Next week with rising temperatures and improving weather it should be possible.

Live less than 50 yards from my works (residential School Caretaker) so no commuting for me :(

On Road cycling:
Hilly terrain – Cornwall.
Tesco’s (shopping) outside town store - 5 miles round trip.
Sometimes with my Mule trailer.
Shopping to near-by village store - 6 miles round trip.
Sometimes with my Mule trailer.
If bored and good weather may cycle to one then the other – 11 miles round trip.
For fun - cycle around the outskirts of the town (doubling up on some routes) - 12 to 15 miles (have managed 18 miles a few times) – that’s a battery-cut-out.

Off road cycling:
Camel Trail (recycled railway line). In the summer it's full of holiday makers on bikes - cycle to Padstow (10 miles round trip) or the other way, Bodmin (12 miles round trip). It goes on further about 20 miles past Bodmin (I think) but only ever cycled it once (not on the ebike).

At least your's is the right way round, easy at the end of the day's work. :)
