Wheelie control

Featured Replies

After learning that my carrera vulcan can pop a wheelie I'm hooked! However it feels far too easy to loop out or it takes off faster than I'm comfortable with. Anyone else wheelie their e bike, any tips for better control? I might just be crap to be fair haven't done it for years. I'm guessing the back brake is far more important on e bikes for control

Back brake control is important

I can only wheelie my ebike properly (not just hopping over stuff) by preloading the front fork then pulling up

Every other bike ive had or have i can pop wheelies off the pedal pressure and a quick pull on the bars , so there definitely different in general

Number Two lifts the wheel very elegantly (ladies frame! :) ):

- low enough gear and assistance level 5

- push hard on the pedals

Most often happens when going up steepish ramps.
