Wheel removal from a powabyke shopper

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone explain to me how to remove the back wheel of a powabyke shopper so I can change the tube in the tyre. All the electric cables appear to be connected to the motor in the wheel and it appears to be very complicated. If anyone can explain a simple way it would be extremely appreciated.

In my experience it is a time consuming task that requires a bike stand and proper tools. Unless you are prepared to disconnect the motor wire from the controller it must remain while you carefully remove and replace the tyre and tube.

A shop that works on ebikes should do it for you. Be prepared to pay a bit extra due the time it takes to do it properly. This probably just stated the obvious but I hope it helps. Cheers
