What is the actual measured distance between the bottom bracket and the Tongsheng TSDZ2.

I'm wondering if the two cable wires threaded through the cable guide attached to the underneath side of the bottom bracket will interfere with mounting the TSDZ2 and, if so, if I could lower the guide enough to permit mounting. Does anyone know the actual measured distance between the bottom bracket and the TSDZ2? Thanks in advance if you know.

I have fitted four TSDZ2 and although I can't give you an actual measurement, I can tell you that in all cases I have had to remove the cable guide.

For the single gear cable to the rear deraileur I managed to run a short length (20cm ish) of gear cable outer between the BB and motor, secured at each end with tie wraps. The cable outer is a tight fit so I would say the gap is around 6-7mm.

here are the diameters of popular chainrings:

Tooth CountDiameter (mm)Diameter (in)
42T176.5mm6.97in
44T184.6mm7.28in
46T192.7mm7.60in
48T200.8mm7.92in

The TSDZ2 comes with 44T, so the reply to your question is 184.6mm/2 = 92mm from the centre of the bottom bracket.

What bike do you want to convert?

Max distance is approx. 5.5mm, maybe 6mm. Certainly on my Kona Ute not enough gap for a hydraulic brake cable to pass thru.
