This may sound obvious, but your bike is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
My advice would be to put it on eBay for 10 days with a starting price of 99p and a reserve set at the least you are willing to sell for.
You should also put a link to your auction in the Pedelec Classified section.
From my experience this works really well.

Good luck,

John

did wispers of 10 months ago have any of the battery problems that some others where having ?...someone offered me their 11 month old Quando which i took off appreciation value and then the cost of a new battery as a 10 month old battery may have lasted a week, a month, a year...pot luck really... which he had to accept and was willing at the price it came too.

The Lishen Li Ion batteries supplied with the 905e and original 905se did not suffer the problems experienced by owners of Ezee models with the Phylion Li Ion battery.

Whether they were individual faulty ones or not I don't know, but there were isolated cases of 905e suffering cutting out, one member suffering them and reporting it some while ago. Certainly not on the Phylion scale though.

David Miall has changed his 14 Ah battery supplier and recently reported his newest one, so one might read something into that.

905e Battery

Hi Steelman

I am delighted that you have had 10 months trouble free riding on your 905e, I would have expected nothing less!

Regarding the batteries, we did have a big fall out with the original 905e batteries, about 30%. All these were swapped by Lishen for new ones and we rarely hear of any 905's with battery issues now.

The reason we changed from Lishen was they were so upset with the 30% rejection rate that they took their larger bike batteries off the market so we were forced to find an alternative.

Our new batteries are superior but the Lishen batteries were good.

Re selling your bike, it may be worth calling the New Milton Shop and having a word with Doug, he may offer you a trade in although I know the next container is sold out. We do however have another about a week behind it with bikes available. 01425 627641

When the second container arrives we will be holding an open day at Sammy Miller's Motorbike museum in New Milton for people to come and try the bikes. It may be an idea to come down then.

Best regards David
