What charger to choose ? 120, 240, 600 W ?

Can you advise what charger (120W? , 240W?) should I chose for:

36V 12AH 38140 LIFEPO4 BATTERY 12 CELLS EBIKE BATTERY PACK
36V 12Ah 38140 LiFePO4 Battery 12 Cells EBike Battery Pack - BMSBATTERY

As far as I understand from spec of 38140 cells, max charge current is 60A ?! Does it mean that I can choose ALLOY SHELL 1200W charger ( Charge Current: 36V/20A)

Hi You need the following it will charge your 12 AH battery in under 3 hours fill in the boxes at the bottom as follows


Battery type* lifepo4
Charge voltage* 42 v
Charge current 5 A
AC voltage 230
AC plug UK 3 pin
DC plug 30A Anderson power pole red /black


Alloy Shell 240W LiFePo4/Li-Ion/Lead Acid Battery EBike Charger - BMSBATTERY


On the battery you need to select Discharge Current 30/60 NOT 15/30 or the battery will cut out

under load

If you use a faster charge it will reduce the battery life

Thanks for your help Frank. I want use this 36V battery with "Bafang 250W Front Driving SWXU hub motor"
36V250W Front Driving SWXU Motor E-Bike Kit - BMSBATTERY kit.

Can you confirm that I need to choose Discharge Current 30/60A ? I've read on es forum that this SWXU motor is good up to 15A ?

Yes you need the bigger BMS it wont harm the motor or controller if its to small it will fail
