Help! What bits do I need?

I have had a couple of Pedelecs, still have one. I have a 36v front hub wheel, 250W. I don't have any of the other bits to mount it on a small trike.
Apparently, I'm told, the motor doesn't have "Hall effects" wossnames. Do I need anything other than a controller, battery or anything?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I've spent the last 60 years Not Understanding Anything to do with Elektrickery!

The motor has a 3 pin lead by the way.

One doesn't have to have a sensored hub, there are some or were unsensored controllers available or one can simply not connect the sensor wires and hopethe controller works ok without error messages.

Ideally one wants a display to go with the controller, a pedal PAS sensor,a speed sensor and a throttle if one needs the use of one.
One will need a 3pin waterproof motor cable to connect to the controller phase wires if one isn't alredy available.
Some sensored controllers don't run very well with the senosrs unconnected.

This controller and the displays use current control so one has more control over the power for a better relaxed ride, they are better then the more basic KU range with led810.

Thanks for the replies. It's on an Ancient Brox quad, I'll be cleaning it up and doing the Necessary stuff in the next few months. I'm actually tempted to give the Brox a refurb, keep the motor on that, maybe even do a "Velomobile" body shell over the winter. If not, the motor and drive will go on one of my other bikes or trikes.
Please accept the fact that (Severe Traumatic Brain Injuries is a good excuse) I WILL ask Stupid questions.
