What bike

I have a friend who wants to convert a bike into an ebike for his wife. Can anyone suggest a suitable bike to convert? It does need to be a step through and have 26 inch wheels. Thank you in advance.

If you haven'r already got the donor bike, it would make more sense to buy a ready-made ebike. There are loads on Ebay.
