My eyes already are... There are more reasonable ones that "need some work" (tm) and also a bubble car at the bottom of the page... I would love a bubble car but £45 k is a bit rich...

I still reckon the Sinclair C5 looks cutting edge. If it was built today, using aluminium for the chassis (guessing original was steel), lithium batteries, and revised steering geometry, it might sell more than the original did.

We now live in an age where consumers think green. Back in the 80's... Well

Different sources quote varying figures, but it looks like less than 10k were sold before the company went bust.

Sold for the price of a new low end Haibike.

Even being brand new, I wonder if things will still need to be replaced, such as tyres and wiring, due to age. The battery certainly will :p

2556.98€ could buy you a HP Velotechnik Gekko and a GSM mid-drive. Add a 48 V battery and a 17 Amp controller and you would have a real road rocket!

Tyres will be toast and the battery will be an old style SLA that probably hasn't been filled with distilled water so it could actually be OK. If it was filled with water it would have burnt a huge hole through the box by now.
