Clever idea - I like it.
However, it seems a bit expensive for what it is 269€
Thick clear plastic, waterproof canvas and two dome tent poles.
Someone with a bit of time and ingenuity could make something similar for a lot less ;)

An interesting idea although it is always my legs that get the most wet and this won't help that much. If you wear a helmet and scull cap you won't even get your head wet.

Is the constant rain restricting your cycling ?

then you need Veltop...

Veltop - Protection pour cycliste / Protection for cyclist | VELTOP | Veltop

see the other photos & some interesting bikes too,

not seen this before.
I hate the rain and got a bit wet on way to work this morning but waterproofs okay and stayed quite dry? This looks like a good idea but I would be worried about the wind getting up underneath the canopy considering the gusts and gales we get and taking off like Mary Poppins! :D lol!

However a cool link and basically a good idea but bit pricey

Regards

Mandy

Let's go fly a bike
Up to the highest height
Let's go fly a bike
And send it soaring

Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a bike
Let's go fly a bike!

Blame this on Mandy - gave me the idea :D

I wouldn't have fancied trying to ride home in tonight's wind with that on my bike - it was hard enough to keep control at times without something like that.
One of the bikes they demonstrated on looked like it was an electric - seemed to be one of the specialbikes.at models with a Tongxin front hub and rack mounted battery.

Hi Mandy! Just the sort of thing I'd go for, (love gadgets) , trying to guess how much I would have to pay as I was looking at the vid. I thought I could probably stretch to £50! Imagine my surprise- approx. £240- they're 'avin a laugh !! Also very susceptible to gusts of wind as well as you have already mentioned. I loved the general idea though, and the item itself looks to be very well made, but that is an outrageous price. Bet they don't sell many! All the best,

StrangeFish :)

Absolutely silly price! Can you inagine it? Totally inpractical!! But you may be able to fly across the channel for free?!
Have you got your bike yet?
I scidadal across the threads and may miss posts like a butterfly and don't take it all in, probably a female thing? lol
I have now renamed myself the butterfly, well sort of so if I missed summit then that is just the butterfly in me. Damn glad I live longer than one though?
