weirdest spider ever....need help identifying

sadly i dont have a picture.... the creepy thing dissapeared in the time it took me to go back in the house and get my phone.

but its was weird......really weird.

i was outside having a fag when i noticed it on the wall next to me and i nearly had shepeards pie in my knickers.

it was a harvestman (opilione) type spider. As in it was just a body with legs, no seperate abdomen or head section. and really long legs

the body was a flat/squashed heart shaped but all knobbly and crooked. its eyes were all on the top and not symetrical or in any order, they seemed to vary in shape, sizes and have jumbled positions. Just this body section was about the size of a 50p peice!!!

the legs were long and looked like very thin twiglets almost, each join having a puffier knuckle type profile. the leg span was about 6 inches.

ive never seen one before and havent since. googling i cant find anything like it.

the closest thing i can liken it to (and its weird so bear with me).....is a gold skulltula spider from zelda.

how did you know it was that kind of "fag"???

joking aside... ive never had a "sgt peppers" moment or anything close to a hallucination becuase of the green stuff...this spider thing was very real

Seriously, these aren't spiders of course, though they are arachnids.

I came across a black snake the other week, over two foot long. I moved faster than I could get my camera out.

nearly flecc. it was somewhere between the two.

more like the second one with a mishaped less symetrical body and missing those two weird spikey antlers at the front.

guess it was a weird maybe old gnarly version of them then

Unfortunately there's very little available documentation on the opiliones so I can't get any closer without a photograph of it.
