Website update is bad

Just logged in after the update, and am not impressed. Why has the text font changed colour to purple, thus making it considerably harder to read? On my iPad it's virtually illegible now.

The new forum is now written in invisible ink to stop Romanian and Bulgarian Spies looking at what we are doing. Hold your iPad over a naked flame and as it heats up, the text will appear.

I thought it was my eyes going, I've been messing with the brightness on my I-Pad trying to make it all clear. The main text (like what I'm typing now) is clear enough but there's other bits of text that's to faint for me.

I use my I-pad for everything these days and if I find something hard to do or not accessible via the pad, I'm just as likely to walk away and do something else but this site is worth persevering with.

I thought I might have been the only one who wasn't fond of the upgrade. It's definitely not ipad friendly. It's trying to be too flashy.

I don't want to be negative but, me no like....
Why is either 10% of my screen taken up with a countryside photo (very nice one though)
The forum has narrowed because of the photo and dealer column so less threads are available to have a quick glance.
the font seems too light.
AND apparently i'm still 'finding my (electric) wheels' even though i have been registered here since Aug 2008 and have 4 electric bikes....grrrrr!
A fair bit of tweaking needed i think.

What an awful update. What was the matter with how it was. Now it's gaudy, and takes far more space up for each message on my tablet. I DO NOT LIKE THIS! Someone should start a poll going - I would but haven't set one up before.

The only thing wrong with the old one was that the 'New' tab didn't always work. We don't have that problem now.

The pretty sunset is giving me a headache......
Ive not got a lot of time to find my way about a new look forum, the other was easy to just click on 'new posts' and catch up.
What I would really like to know is......
what exactly was wrong with the old site ?
and how is this new one going to improve our enjoyment of it ?
It all looks a bit 'modern' for me......god, Im sounding old......Im not really that old....promise.....Im normally very funky......whereas now I feel a bit funked out with this new site lol

Frankly, I think it is time something was done about all those immigrants from Esperanto, high time they learned to speak the Queen's English........oops, just remembered, she's German

I do hope this site does not go the same way as another forum site I use changed the web site and now all the members have gone the only one left is the web master and 2 members?
Before 30+ per night.
The old one have the INFO so please don't loose hope and keep trying.

Come on guys, let's give Russ a few days to sort out these small things. It's just a little bit of tweaking in style sheets and all will be sorted out. Moving such a massive forum from one platform to another is not an easy task. I think they did very well on this job and new forum looks very good and it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Last Website / group thar underwent a major reshuffle lost a lot of members who voted with their feet m I hope it does not happen here , will wait a monthh before my final verdict .
