Wanted: box for my Boss battery

I've had a Boss electric conversion done to my mountain bike. Brilliant, except for one annoying point.

They've mounted the battery in a Topeak MTX bag - very stylish, but INSTANTLY detachable, so totally insecure.

What I want is an aluminium box to house the battery - I would intend to bolt the box to the substantial rack (that came with the Topeak bag), so while it wouldn't make the battery 100% secure, it would be an improvement on the current quick-release system.

Any ideas where I could get such an ally box (dims about 9x7x3 inches), or alternatively other ideas for mounting or securing the battery?

On a more technical point: does an ebattery need to be ventilated inside its container? Is heat a problem?
