WANTED.26v Bat./CHARGER FOR KALKHOFF PRO CONNECT 10ah

I urgently need a charger for the above bike, the battery is PANASONIC.

I assume you meant Panasonic crank drive system?

The major UK dealer for Kalkhoff is 50 Cycles. They have various outlets around England and can probably source the genuine article fairly quickly.

What happened to the previous charger?

Yes on both points, all the boxes seem to be ticked re Tangents charger but his has 4 prongs to go into the battery and mine has 5?
The 5th on has the + sign adjacent to it, the 4th a letter C, THE IMPRESSED SLOT/GUIDE HAS A - IMPRESION IN IT, THERE ARE NO OTHER APPARENT MARKING ON THE BATTERY CASE IN THE SREA OF THE PRONGS.
There are so many batteries and chargers about it is a minefield.

All the 26 volt chargers and batteries for the Panasonic unit match ok. Only three of the five connections are actually used in charging. Here's a photo of the charger base which only has 4 pins, but it accepts the five pin position batteries:

And here's the battery base showing what the connections are:

1) Charge monitoring, presumably by temperature.

2) Negative (-)

3) Battery Meter.

4) Charging Positive (+)

5) Output Positive (+)

I cannot tell you how grateful I am.

Looks like the one ion ebay will do the job.
The 5th slot on my battery threw me.
Tangent charger seems to be ok.
