June 7, 201510 yr "Hey W.W!" Lol @ Americans....Wai Won would have been quicker to say...we used to just call him Ching (Think that's the correct way to address him in Chinese culture?)
June 7, 201510 yr we used to just call him Ching (Think that's the correct way to address him in Chinese culture?) But Wai Won is Singaporean! .
June 7, 201510 yr But Wai Won is Singaporean! . Oops...that's me showing my geographical ignorance:oops:...should have said Eastern Asian cultures maybe?
June 7, 201510 yr He is a Singaporean citizen and ethnic Chinese along with many within Singapore's multicultural society. Basically he doesn't mind how he is addressed, many including myself call him WW. As with many cultures Chinese family names come before the given or as westerners would say first name. Within Europe for example Hungarians also use this format.
