Volt Alpine (original)

Could do with another battery for my Volt Alpine -the original one where the battery slides down behind the seat tube - Volt want almost £600 for one but I see a similar 15Ah silverfish battery with 4 ports on eBay for about a quarter of that !! Size wise it seems to be the same but not sure if it would fit the slide in rail etc - anyone any experience in using one of these battery with a Volt bike ?? Thanks

Silverfish batteries often are supplied with a new fitting kit which comprises of slide/rail & bottom discharge plate. Pretty simple to swap over but may entail minor soldering.

Thank you - was hoping I could use the original slide and discharge plate and have 2 batteries to use but it would appear not if you have to change them to fit silverfish battery !!

The battery may well be exactly the same fitting wise , one won't know until it arrives to see.
