Hi everyone,
I to am new to this sight. I saw that you were able to help Hurtlocker66 with a problem he was having with his Voilmart ebike.
I also have a Voilmart ebike with similar problems.
I upgraded my controller and screen to the KT30 controller and the KT LCD3 screen.
The rest of the ebike upgrade is a Voilmart 1000 watt rear wheel with a 48v. 20ah battery. 26in. bike.
The problem I'm having is while in pedal assist level 4 and 5 the motor will engage then disengage repeatedly and never really get up to speed.
Its like the controller is not seeing what the motor is doing.
my setting are as follows.
C1 1 P1 46
C2 0 P2 0
C3 8 P3 1
C4 0 P4 0
C5 10 P5 15
C6 3
C7 0
C8 1
C9 0
C10 N
C11 0
C12 4
C13 0
C14 2
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Nealh

Does this happen all the time you are in level 4 or 5, or only some of the time?

If only some of the time, is it OK at lower speeds, and only happens as speed rises? Or something different? Does it make a difference how charged the battery is?

It sounds like either battery dragged down and cutting out, but previous response suggests that is not it, or hitting a speed limit and a not very smooth algorithm.

And it never, ever happens in level 3 or lower?

Hi,
I just got off work that why it took so long to reply. I tested the bike again and found out that in PAS 4 the problem went away once the bike got to about 5-6 miles MPH. but in PAS 5 it was always there no matter what speed I went up to, even with me applying the throttle it would cut out the engage then cut out and engage like I described in my original post. The lower PAS setting it runs flawless! I did test this with a fully charged battery. this issue doesn't happen when i use just the throttle it runs smooth up to 28+ MPH. I don't have the original link on the battery but its like this one I found on ebay. I originally bought all the components off ebay. The original controller didn't have this issue the problem it had was it went too fast in lower PAS modes.
I appreciate all you attention to this issue and wait for your reply.
Thanks,
Tom
