Hi all so sorry to ask this but I don't seem to be getting anymore replies to my post I started, I honestly thought it was the back brakes. but its not. I wish now I had never bought this moped. I paid £350 for it then about 6 miles battery was no good. had to buy new battery from china, cost about £170, plus front and rear brakes another £85. front headlamp glass, £25 now it seems its the motor or am I wrong.

I REALLY NEED HELP NOW PLEASE. AND SORRY TO POST AGAIN, iM 70 NOW AND ALWAYS WANTED A ELECTRIC MOPED. i EVEN HAD TO GET MY BROTHER TO HELP UP 2 FLIGHTS STAIRS TO MY FLAT TO DO JOBS ON IT AS DONT HAVE NO WHERE.

IM BEGGING HERE GUYS FOR HELP :D;)

ITS A ERIDER MOPED MODEL 15

The reason you don't get many replies is because no one has any experience with moped repairs, although electric and 250w road legal it is far from being an ebike/pedelec in the form of a simple push bike.
If folks aren't answering it is because they can't help or have exhausted that which they know.

Maybe you need to be on a moped forum where the knowledge of these mopeds is known more.

It's like the guys who come on here asking about the high power stuff, in general I don't bother answering unless it is a Q about a KT controller. Tbh I have no interest in high power bikes or ott speed bikes.

I don't think continually starting new threads is helping you. If you kept to the same thread, people here would be able to know the full story and follow your journey.

I'm sure we're all reading your posts. But this forum is for electric bikes, not mopeds. It stands to reason that many reading your posts won't know much if anything about your Erider and therefore have nothing of value to contribute. Like you, we're all out of our depth with this one.

The only company I know who specialise in electric motorcycles and mopeds is Norfolk based. Their electric mopeds start with a brand called NIU - similar in looks to your Erider moped - and prices start from about £2000. They know engineers to fix these things is limited, so they offer a nationwide fixed fee mechanic at £160 - wherever in the UK you are - Scotland, Cornwall or London.

What do Erider have to say for themselves? What servicing arrangments have they made available? Where in the country are you?

EDIT: Crossed with Neals post above.

Yeah same as I said to Nealh above he hjas helped loads, but now i think the motor needs looking at my best place would be the river end of moped lol.

Would you believe I have tried 15 places where I live and yes its Norfolk, but dont know where in Norfolk do you know where this nationwide mechanic is or located, as Ive now spent a fortune on this dam electric moped. you will see in all my posts I started

I do apologies to you all and will try to see from Erider why there forums don't reply but they don't do the model 15 no more, but must have some ideas

I wont be posting here again. only on original thread

The English Electric Motorcycle Company is just outside Diss. They don't deal with your Erider brand, so may not be able to help you. I only know of them because I cycle past from time to time. The really good thing about them is there's an artisan Bakery next door for really good bread, and a Brewery (Starwing) who brew some really great Ale - handily, they have a tap-room serving beer and food.

It's a good place to spend an afternoon whilst mechanics fix your bike. But wether they'll help with yours I don't know.

I wasn't going to type here no more but had to just say thanks for your help, No I also don't think they will help. I am onto Erider via e-mail see if they can help and to also tell them whats point in a Erider forum if it dont even say you are logged it. maybe that's why i never get a reply

Is this the forum?

At the bottom of the page, it says "You must be logged in to create new topics." - so it might just be a very inactive forum?

For most websites, if you remove all the cookies on your pc browser, that stops you from being logged in - if you then log in, that should be you logged in for sure. If you clear all data from your phone browser (if using a phone), that should see you recognised as logged out, because it removes all cookies. Or maybe try another device to use that website with? Some websites, especially the older ones, work better using a Windows PC or MAC.

If you view the same website using a different, freshly installed browser on your phone, after you have posted a question on that forum using your usual browser, and can't see your post in the freshly installed new browser (without logging in using the new browser), then that post hasn't been posted, at least not publically (might be held up in a moderator's area to be approved or something).

According to the erider forum stats, Billyboya has started 6 topics very much deja vu reflecting the multiple posts in pedelecs and there have been 9 replies to those posts.
It say's you were active there 10 mins ago.

I 'm not a member or signed in to that forum but easily found the above.
The forum appears to be little used also the manner in the way you post questions may put off those who might reply, your frustration and anger shows thru as it does on here. Like here some of your responses to lack of help or replies do appear quite rude in the way they are written.

Further to your PM billyboya, because on this forum, the PM system doesn't display images in the same way as the threads.:

Have you tried ringing erider? There might be other erider forums, forums with erider sections, or faceache support groups or something.
