buy a brompton or a moulton and put your union jack sticker on it ......... fix a lightweight motor and battery onto one and you will have a great lightweight ebike........unfortunately no real contenders in uk for the electrics !!!!!!!

welcome back Dave!

according to a bunch on here it is OK for Japenese car giants to set up "assembly" plants here to get around trade restrictions and call the product British, but a small UK company exporting e bikes world wide is not allowed to to this......Bewildering

I think most of us really know what this jingoistic bunch are really at, probably wave it at the German Saxe-Coburg-Gotha family who rule, and changed their name to Windsor to dupe the cap tippers

I found 3 examples without even looking yesterday of companies using the union jack flag

Sometimes I come on site to avoid the constant repeats on Tv, so here we go again rehashed, aftermath, which I remember some members expressed their boredom the first time around on this subject.

I don't think it matters where the bike is made really, as long as the design is British and the company behind it based in Britain, it's a British bike! I'm proud to ride my Mezzo knowing it's British, even if it was manufactured in China or somewhere East!
