Hi,
there was a press notice here in Germany that Stuttgart (a medium sized town in Germany with about 600.000 people) want to convert into a "LEV City" . The town is very hilly, nobody takes a bike, and because it is surrounded with mountains the smog is very bad.
Now they want to introduce a pedelec-hiring system. If you are part of it (pay a monthly share of 15 Euro) you can get a pedelec at many places of the town and drive it with your personal key. You can also change the battery on these places.
They have chosen the manufacturer Ultra Motors with their model "Europa" to be the manufacturer of the pedelecs (they want to buy 1200 of them) . Why it was chosen, I don´t know. On the webside it says that it has 400W, which would be more than allowed.
Does someone know the bike?
Welcome to Ultra Motor
Seems to be very heavy (34kg), probably more an e-bike than a pedelec.
Best regards
Hermann
