Thanks for the link homeoz, very interesting. Unfortunately Birdy folders are expensive and so is the BionX, so this will be one for the well heeled I think.

The other relevant factor is that it's a "marmite" product, people either love or hate it's front suspension.

However it's good to see such a well known name in cycling entering the pedelec arena, joining products from Giant, Raleigh, Kalkhoff et al.

This mainstream industry acceptance brings added legitimacy to electric assisted cycling as a realistic mass transport option.

Hi,

Just about every one in the bike business now wants to get into the electric bikes, including Dahon. Most of them if not all will simply package their bikes with off-the shelves electrical drive system from China, and they still have a lot to learn just like Schwinn and for some magic numbers they think the market will accept for mass marketing, and some will use like Bionx as like OHM in Canada and their price become incredibly expensive. I have received a steady stream of enquiries for my proprietary drive system and so far I sell only to a couple of very special bikes producers, and eZee will keep it our system with eZee bikes, that far out perform the rest in the market. Yes, there will be hundreds of mails that will protest this statement, but I know what I am saying, very soon eZee will be the un-disputed leader in the USA market if it is not already.
