August 24, 20169 yr we have a Batavus with Protanium 29v 10a battery and 29v2a Protanium charger. I'd like to use a uk sourced wall charger (and ideally 3 pin plug) that feed into the Protanium charger but still out of habit use the Dutch supplied 2 pin wall charger cord. Naturally I'm afraid of damaging the battery with an incorrect charger but would like a more stratforward way of charging than converting 220/240 to 110 and then into the Protanium charger. Might be a Maplin job unless readers can offer wisdom or recommended products Thanks for reading!
August 24, 20169 yr I thought the voltage in Holland, and the rest of Europe, was the same as in UK. Are you sure it's 110v? Here's a charger on BE ebay and in indicates an input voltage of 100 - 240 V. Is your charger similarly marked? If so, just cut the plug off and fit a UK plug in it's place.
