If you are interesting in experimenting with electric bikery, these could be just the thing. If, however, you're not possessed of the necessary technical skills, these are probably not the droids you are looking for.
One wheel should work fine as-is, the other is a spare hub-motor in effect. To convert a mountain bike to electric you will also need a motor controller and battery (36V), these are probably available right here on eBay or Crystalyte still have the "analog" controllers on their site. If using another controller you will need to know what I mean when I say the wheels have Hall-effect sensors built in, so you need a controller that can interface to those.
Both motors are in working order as far as I know (have not been used for a while but stored in dry in the loft). One hub-motor (the one I was using) is built into a Sun Rhynolite rim as would be used on e.g. a downhill bike (heavy duty) with new spokes (one eyelet loose but is fine) and has extra seals on the axle, new-ish bearings, plus a disc brake adapter which I had specially made to a design provided by the Crystalyte Europe office. The other wheel has the original Chinese (or is that Cheese?) rim with a few broken spokes - but the hub-motor should be a useful spare. Both have 7-speed screw-on freewheels.
Ideal for mad experimentation etc. Can make a very effective commuting bike with a bit of effort and some bits. Or a bizarre electric go-kart. Whatever. Particularly entertaining is one-(max)-speed pedelec-enabled off-road cycling in the dark, after a couple of pints. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time . . .
NOTE: When you go looking for info on forums, you may find nonsense about the 409 motor being brushed. It's not, it's brushless, I know this because I've had them apart to do bearings etc. The 409 is (IIRC) the higher torque variant of the rear-hub motor from Crystalyte. Worked well for me.
