Turning the Intuvia back light off at night time

It's probably as clear as day, and in truth I haven't yet played with the settings, but before I do, is it possible to turn the Bosch Intuvia display back light of at night time? I have no interest in seeing what is on the display and find that it is becoming a distraction.
I could just put duck tape over it, but I'd rather not hide it completely.

press reset and i for the config screen but no way to turn it off from there.

less martin or ktm can do it via software?

or take it apart and remove the back light . i dont want mine on at night either.
