How on earth do you keep the power going when you are trying to signal right while going up a hill? Am I missing something? is there a way of keeping the throttle open so I don't start rolling backwards?

Also what happens when you have to stop at a junction on a hill? I found it to stiff to peddle it so couldn't get the throttle to kick in. I live in a very hilly Cornwall so maybe the bike isn't the right one. I have a vespa, but surely there must be an elecrtic bike whose throttle will stay open and one that will allow me to peddle once I've stopped at a junction.
Please help someone! X

Left hand twistgrip throttles are available and fitted to many e-bikes. I use them myself and it solves that problem.

Remember though that the majority of e-bikes are pedelecs where the power is controlled by the pedal rotation and pressure, so they have no such problem. The current intention for a change in the law is that all new e-bikes will have to be like that in future.

what you need to do is get a pedal sensor disabler available maybe from a dealer/ powabyke website or you may find someone on here who knows how to disable them. always change to a low gear beforehand so you can pedal plus you never want a throttle that doesnt shut off properly not good when things go wrong
