Hi all

Considering swapping to tubeless, what's the pros and pitfalls related to them

Do you have to swap tyres or are you able to use standard tubed tyres

Thanks
Andy

the tyres need to be tl ready for it to work and get the extra benefits for a tubless system that is more grip with lower psi and no snake bite punctures as not running a tube.

another option is slime tubes as will be cheaper but cant run the lower psi in the tyres.

the only down side to a tubeless system is the price for the stuff you need to do it.
rimtape if the rim is not tl ready ie has holes in it for the spokes.
valves
sealant
tl ready tyres
a decent pump or air comp to seat the tyre on the rim as fist time will either be easy or a mofo to get sealed but depends how tight a fit the tyre is on the rim.

i have not had a flat in over 2 years now and 3000 miles plus :)
