TSDZ2b problem

Hi I’ve only just joined and I have an ICE recumbent, I fitted a TSDZ2b with a VLCD5 screen. The problem I have with it is when I start pedaling the screen shows 62.5 mph.After approximately 200mts it then goes to the right speed and the power comes on. If I start on a slope or hill the power sometimes won’t start until I reach the top of the hill. Going up a hill at a reasonable speed if I ease off or stop pedaling I can lose power.If I’ve lost power the speed shows 62.5.Has anyone got any ideas to explain what is going wrong.Thank you.

Have a fiddle with the spoke magnet gap , 5 - 10mm is normal or try adding another magenet to the existing one.
