trying to fit throttle control to E-GO Lite

I bought the above bike sometime back but due to mobility problems (Arthritis) found it hard to start off and pedal sufficient to activate PAS.

Due to operations not been on it for at least 18months

I would like to fit a throttle control that would allow me to safely set off rather than wobbly unsafe way I used to do.

The bike has a KT36SVPR-CBW02C controller and there some leads not in use hoping one is for a throttle. Also I believe the display unit is a KT1 which I do not think has ability for a throttle control naturally it wouldn't since E-GO only supply as a PAS.
Assume might have to buy an updated display unit have found information that says the KT3 and 5 displays have throttle ability
Yes I know there is some controversy over legality of throttle use, but I understand as long as the bike retains the PAS system conforming to EPAC an individual can convert the bike to add throttle control.

I just want to be able to use the throttle to set off and then continue with PAS

Which brings me to another question on looking at several forums it seems some people have been setting the parameters to suit themselves rather than the standard factory set supplied.

Hoping someone can tell me how this done?
e.g. By pressing certain combination of buttons on display or
by using a computer if latter how is that connected.

I could probably work a lot of this out myself if I could get a circuit diagram for the above controller. But having searched the internet using the model number of the controller cannot found one specific to that model.

Also tried to find who made the KT controller/displays so I could contact them for information

I know it is a long post for a newbie but trying to give as much clear information as possible hoping people can help provide some answers

Thanks

User Manual here that explains all the settings and how to get them:

In case you don't know, the LCD has walk assist to get you started, activated by holding the down button. It gets you to 6km/hr without pedaling. If it's not already activated in the settings, you can change the settings to activate it.

You can fit any throttle you want, but best, easiest to install and cheapest is a plain thumb throttle. Different bikes have different arrangements on the handlebars, so choose a throttle that can fit in the space. Sometimes shifters or brakes get in the way. Also, you can get left-hand throttles or ambidextrous ones to fit on the left side if there's more room there.

Don't get a fancy throttle with buttons and or lights on unless you're happy to do extra wiring.

All throttles work the same with three wires. All you have to do is connect them in the right sequence, which is nearly always red to red, black to black and third wire to third wire. You rarely get the right connector, in which case cut off the connectors and solder the wires or twist the wires together and insulate them. You might have to activate the throttle in the settings, but unlikely.

Thanks very much for the download all I got with bike was very basic, set assist level etc
Yes knew there was a walk and it worked if not on bike but when sat on it just juddered as though power coming on then off. Got in touch with seller and was told that was all it was intended to do move and rider walks at side.

Now have this full manual should be able to see what is set and be able to alter hopefully to suit.

Yes been looking was intending just to buy a simple throttle that connects straight to the controller as you say three wires 1 Red 1 Black and 1 either white or Green

Many Thanks for your prompt and very helpful information
Much Appreciated

I will let you know how I get along
